A Few Of My Favorite Picks . . .
One of the greatest things about living in California is the access we have to new healthy, delicious, locally crafted items. Here are a few of my most favorite picks for snacking, cooking, or keeping my energy up through a packed day.
My go to Olive oil has been California Olive Ranch for years now, but recently I decided to embark on a new brand by a pair of Napa Valley Brothers Homegrown California Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Their EVOO is nutty, delicious, and rich perfect for salad dressings, quinoa dishes, and roasting vegetables. All the ingredients are grown by the brothers or their friends in their local area. I appreciate their youthful, renegade quality which shines through into their products!
On a recent road trip up north through Berkley Ca, with my partner in crime GianPrem, I discovered Jem raw nut butters. They come in an array of delicious flavors all packed with incredibly delicious and nutritious ingredients all raw and beautifully made. My most favorite is the Coconut Cardamom Almond Butter. It literally tastes like some divine ambrosia for the goddesses!
One of my secret weapons for getting through a jammed packed day are these super food truffles. They are made with all organic, raw, nutrient packed ingredients. My favorite the Superfoods Supreme Truffle is made with maca, spirulina, mesquite, turmeric, goji berries, coconut oil and more. The creator Erin Williams launched REAL to bring her healthy philosophy to people through her delicious treats.
Last but not least my most favorite crackers that I discovered in Ojai at The Farmer and the Cook are made with almond flour and are all gluten free and amazing! Jilz crackers in salt and cracked pepper can now be purchased on The Local Rose Shop. These crackers are vegan, organic, and voted the best crackers by LA Times. I know my kids can go through a whole package in one sitting!
