Farm shop
Okay the West side is now worthy of a gourmand’s praise. Farmshop with it’s farm to table culinary dishes is now finally open for dinner and selling produce from various organic vendors. Jeffrey Cerciello who comes to us from the Thomas Keller restaurants in Napa, has created more than a restaurant but also a bakery, larder, and a created food section. His dishes are so fresh and delicious it is always a dilemma choosing something. My most favorite so far has been the organic chickpea hummus, and the market salad with goat cheese. Oh and the interiors are so gorgeous with their teal mohair couches and wood tables all designed by Commune. Can they come design my house please??

I like the interior design, too, Shiva Rose. The lighting and casual atmosphere, reminds one of a cafeteria hwere tables are large adding a more communal and friendly environment. There was this restaurant in Boston I went to visit years ago (like in the 1970s when I was in college) where everyone sat at a few long tables side by side and got to meet total strangers from anywhere. I love 24/7 bakerys! I could eat pastry all day, if I could. Fresh bread! Yum! Anyway, the Farmshop sounds like a great, new place to eat gourmet fresh, homemade food from locally grown farms. I hope it succeeds!
