Elves in the Echo

October 3, 2011 | 2 Comments

If I actually lived near Echo Park, I would probably be here every day. It has just the kind of fare I love: vegetarian with a Mediterranean twist. It really feels like an East Village kind of place with the charming artistic decor and candle lighting. It’s run by former rock musicians who are now creating symphonies at this tiny cafe (only seven tables so make a ressie!)

There is no pseudo meat at this vegetarian mecca but delicious lentil stews, flatbreads with hummus, and all from locally grown places. (cash only elves!!)

The tiny restaurant sounds so very quaint and quiet, as soft music blends with the rustic, tranquil background and the unique food offered here. Echo Park sounds so charming and delightful a place to visit or live, for sure. Thank you, Shiva, for your wonderful suggestion. You should be in advertising and promotions. 🙂

I am going to start seeking out these places up here where I am -Seattle… this one sounds delicious.
