NEcho Delight = Cookbook Store
Okay so maybe it’s a good thing I’m not in the Echo, because the fresh baked olive bread from this little place is so darn good I could eat three loafs a day! What I absolutely adore about Cookbook is that it feels like a San Francisco kind of joint . . . a la Tartine. Like those little ma and pa groceries in Noe Valley, but this one carries only organic produce from local farms (they even have Raw milk!) On top of all that it’s actually a cookbook store carrying all the great ones by the likes of Alice Waters and Zuni Restaurant. The brilliant concept they have is that they cook recipes from a different book every day. They also carry incredible fresh made pastas and treats from Heirloom LA.
