Lost and Found = Lost and Lusting
Yes I am lost and lusting when ever I come east to Jaimie Rosenthal’s exquisite mecca Lost and Found. I’m lost because I can’t ever decide which one of her stores I should go to first. She has several store fronts all together on a block on Yucca street in Hollywood. There is the women’s clothing store, children’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s decor and furniture, household kitchen/linen store and an insane household item store with delicious blankets, pillows, throws and rugs. I am lusting because there is not one item I can live without!!
A few thoughts from Jaimie:
1) What is your favorite piece in the store right now?
This is a tough choice since there are many in each category right now. i love the paulette rollo throws from scotland. the colors and patterns are mind blowing and double sided. en route from italy right now is a new shipment of hand loomed accessories from maria la rossa that i can’t wait to receive. the chunky hand knit raquel allegra cardigan sweater that i might have to own. new wovenplay children’s tutu’s and dress up clothes with a vintage twist. men’s suede jacket from engineered garments.
2) Are you a wood nymph or an ocean mermaid?
i am definitely an atlantic mermaid from new england.
3 )Where do you like to go to eat?
there are probably no surprises here…i like good clean food made from the freshest ingredients. in hollywood i am a regular at the hungry cat where i can walk to from the store and ammo on highland is still a long time favorite as well. on the westside axe in venice is still a favorite and giorgio’s is always worth the trip for italian. when in berkeley..chez panisse of course! in new york i love all of the momofuko restaurants, the spotted pig and minetta tavern.
4) What is your beverage of choice?
