Holiday Gifts = Spiral Foundation

Marichia Simcik is truly a bodhisattva on our earth. Her organization The Spiral Foundation gives us the opportunity to find meaningful gifts that are affordable and beautiful that will aid humanitarian projects. 100 % of the proceeds bought at the bazaars go the refugee artists that make them from Nepal, Vietnam and Africa. Spiral has raised thousands and thousands for so many causes that it would take too long to mention but some include heart surgeries for children and infants, dental care in Nepal and refugee programs in Italy. I love the fact that most of the items are made of recycled material so the products are green as well as functional! There is a bazaar on the weekend of December 8th in the Pacific Palisades. At the last one I bought a wonderful basket made of recycled plastic for my little one’s toys, and cozy slippers from Nepal. The items are so reasonable and great for the gift giving season.
