An Enchanted Evening of Entertaining with Domaine Home
I was thrilled to partner up with the glamorous blog Domaine Home for a story on outdoor entertaining. I assembled three of my favorite people to co-create the perfect tableau. I envisioned a blue tablecloth with old world tables and chairs under the incredible old oak tree in my garden, with a hanging chandelier above. Quite ambitious! How to make this vision a reality became an all consuming goal! First of all the lovely Rachel Craven created the deep sky blue linens and tablecloth to quench my blue obsession, and Kristen from MoonCanyon Design made beautifully rustic yet classy arrangements to match the blue theme. Brooke Larson and I then foraged from my garden and the farmer’s market to gather beautiful, organic produce so she could get to her work on her delicious dishes.

Shiva,
I am a huge fan. I love your lifestyle. It is so like mine.I used to live in los angeles and if we would have met, i think we would have been fast friends.
anyhow, in the shot above, I love your dress. if you don’t mind sharing, where did you get it? I would love one just like it and in other colors.
many blessings to you and your family,
fondly,
Kirsten Cantley, now of atlanta, Georgia
Thank you so much Kristen! The blue dress in the post is a vintage one but the oatmeal one is from a woman in NYC that I featured on the site some time ago. here is the link on her http://www.thelocalrose.com/hip-hip-pip-squeak/ Blessings to you and family too!
Thank you Shiva!
