Now that we that we are going into Autumn, it’s good to start thinking about lip colors that pop with the turning of the leaves. I turned to Southern Belle and supermodel Molly Sims who is a sweet friend, about what she does to maintain her gorgeous pucker.  I have always admired Molly for her natural ease and Southern charm. She now has a lovely blog on how she brings holistic elements into her life and with raising her son Brooks. She shared with us her favorite lip scrub made from everyday kitchen staples. I made the scrub myself and I have to say it really nourishes and moisturizes your lips. I used some of the honey from my hives and substituted Coconut sugar for brown sugar. Molly loves the new violet hues for lipsticks:  “I’m someone who, on the day to day, likes to keep her beauty regime pretty simple and easy. Especially with chasing after my two year old added to the mix!! Gone are the days of long showers and any extratime in the mirror for primping or makeup application. Lipstick is the perfect solution for a quick makeup fix. I love a little lippy action!! A pop of color brings it all together. For lips, the color trend I am currently geeking over is violet. It is such a beautiful rich shade that suits so many skin tones. The trick with wearing a darker shade is to keep the rest of your makeup really light. Let your lips do the talking!” Read below for a mini interview with Molly.

I love using coconut oil for everything! I use it when I get massages ! I use it in my hair as a conditioner ! I use it on my son’s excema! I use it on my lips and I cook with it!

I totally feel diet and exercise and eating right affect my skin and overall well being. Calcium bites are great in the freezer when you want that hit of chocolate!
