Tavin Boutique is a gem of a store in Echo Park in the old Show Pony store front which was Kime Buzzelli’s store and gallery. Erin Tavin has such an incredible eye, that I literally gave a little gasp when I entered her inner sanctum filled with unique vintage and local artisan pieces. There is a unique eclectic mix of South Western ponchos, Victorian lace dresses and gorgeous folk dresses from Afghanistan. Erin tags all her items with little stories which add to the magic!

Two doors down from Tavin you will find a beacon of Echo Park- the vintage store Flounce.

This is one of the only places left where you can still find a 1940’s rayon dress. The owner, Lisa Gerstein has been here since the days of Show Pony, when Echo Park’s artistic community was just forming. I love getting lost in another era here . . .

I love the first photo, Shiva. The way Tavin displays her vintage treasures is so lovely and decorative. Each piece adding such class and beauty to the setting inside her boutique. And her little stories with each item is so very special. Thank you, Shiva, for showing such a wonderful business in which to shop and dream.
