California Girl = Heidi Merrick
I first saw Heidi wearing one of her bohemian yet stylish ruffle dresses at a polo game in Santa Barbara. I instantly felt drawn to her (and her dress) and when she told me she was a Californian, who grew up on the beaches and mountains I felt an instant kinship. She gathers her inspiration from the environment we are blessed to be a part of. Her father is a famed surfboard shaper and she carries along the artistry by cutting and sewing her patterns. She lives in Silverlake with her young daughter and husband.
