Belle Jeans
The time has come to transition from wearing skinny jeans as our uniform to wideleg blues. I have a few vintage ones but I have to admit they aren’t the most comfortable. Also to the horror of my fourteen year old they can bring on the dreaded, dare I say it . . .camel toe situation!! I’ve been searching for the right flair, the right waist height, right texture. A few years ago Stella Mccartney made a perfect pair but they are almost impossible to find. The closest to that Maria Schneider vibe are to be found in J Brands Bette Jean. They are thin enough to be comfortable and high waisted enough to make you feel like Jaclyn Smith back in the day.
