Minnie Store

There are many reasons to be elated that Minnie Mortimer has opened a tiny, cute store in Brentwood. The first reason is that the New York transplant is so lovely and her dresses perfect for the summer. Secondly, her store is in one of my most favorite buildings in Los Angeles (The Barry Building) which is in danger of being destroyed to make room for yet another mall. Minnie has for now put up her shop in this timeless spot. Her signature striped dresses and tops are easy to wear as is her homage to prep school blazers. Minnie not only has great style but is a designer, surfer, mother of two and philanthropist. She recently told me about her moving experiences working with Operation Smile. Nothing I love more than a rose with a cause . . . .
