Chic & Green Cloth Lids
Eco-Friendly Storage for Leftover Meals
I try to be as green as I can, but lately after seeing even more alarming statistics on plastic and how it is creating havoc on our precious mother, I am even more determined to go further with eradicating plastics in my home. It takes over 1,000 years for plastic to decompose, not to mention how harmful it is for us and our planet. I stopped using plastic wrap years ago due to the fear of contamination by the chemical polyethylene. For left over foods, I use mason jars or Unbleached Parchment Paper to cover bowls with a clumsy rubber band to hold it in place. Needless to say I was very excited to see these cloth lids by the talented Molly De Vries for her sweet company called Ambatalia. I love how she describes her line as a non-disposable modern ecological textile company. It just makes me so happy to see chic and green products! I am now selling the cloth lids on my shop and you can get yours here!
