(The giveaway is open to US Residents and will last until January 8th 2013. Skirt provided by EILEEN FISHER.)
LOVE, LOVE THIS SKIRT. I AM A HUGE EILEEN FISHER FAN – HER CLOTHES ARE ON TREND AND YET CLASSIC. I’D WEAR THIS SKIRT WITH A MUSTARD 3/4 SLEEVE CHUNKY SWEATER AND A CHAMBRAY SHIRT. BARE LEGS WITH MOCCasINs.
I love this skirt – in the winter I would wear with BLACK leggings and black booties, a turtle neck and a cinched waist fitted jacket. In the summer with a white fitted tea and a pair of patent leather thong birkenstocks, oh yeah red toe nails or maybe a cool charcoal grey (OR WHITE KEDS). In the spring – a french striped t-shirt, and red lace up oxfords. In the fall with wine colored thick sweater, lacy wool tights and burgundy oxfords. Oh yeah, a darling knitted cloche to compliment sweater. To dress up – I would add a fitted black lace top and a darling pair of strappy shoes (you know the kind with lots of straps that look like a cross between a bootie and a high gladiator sandal, darling dangling earrings and lots of stacked bracelets.
Yeah, that is how I would wear it.
Diana from San Francisco
PS – Happy new year shiva rose.
I’m not sure how i’d wear it yet…i’d have to try a few different looks and then decide 🙂 typical woman. haha!
just moved to asheville, nc from miami so I would normally wear it with a white tank top but considering the weather here, I would love to wear it with a gray mushy sweater with funky colored tights and my black bootie boots paired with bright colored accesories.
this skirt is sweetly fresh and sexy in a wholesome 1950s way that i love. it will harmonize perfectly with everything else in my closet! to celebrate spring’s arrival to frigid iowa, i’ll wear it with a jersey knit black-and-white striped boatneck top with 3/4 length sleeves, soft leather ballet flats in a rich, warm cognac color, and my great-grandmother’s gold heart-shaped locket on a 30″ chain. I’ll add a seductive little gold ankle bracelet to complete the 1950s french starlet vibe. I’ll wear my long locks loose and flowing, and a smidgen of rosy, dewy makeup. Then I’ll go on a spring stroll in the country with a handsome someone… .
simple black tee, chunky necklace, cute boyfriend.
I would wear this skirt with simple, white tank top and simple nude sandals. Super minimalist.
Immediately I thought about wearing it with my jcrew chambray top that goes with everything!
and for spring it would be great with a silk tank.
Since I am on the East coast now I would wear it with the ef Bateau Neck Cropped Box-Top sweatshirt in charcoal with a white tank top underneath. I’d also probably wear a patterned scarf with it, maybe a Zigzag Silk Shibori. i love the patterned tights with it too!
Eileen fisher Classic never goes out of style. I would Wear this with my cowgirl boots….all 9 pairs of them, each perfect for every season.
Thanks so much for the fun giveaway! I’d wear this skirt with a simple white boat-neck blouse, a striped navy and black scarf and a fitted jacket. Oh, and some tiny silver earrings, too.
I would wear with my black suede boots and black turtleneck in the winter (with some fun tights). I think I’d wear it with a striped grey tank top and some flats in the warmer months. Gorgeous skirt!
I LOVE this skirt. I would wear it with slouchy black boots, wooly tights, and a very bright persimmon sweater. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love this skirt! I would wear slouchy boots, tights, and a very bright persimmon sweater for winter! Thanks for the giveaway!
I would have to model the skirt before styling the skirt. It is beautiful!!
This skirt reminds me of a skirt i had many years ago when i lived in manhattan. the color and shape are the same, the fabrication was different. i wore it all the time — with striped shirts, a simple white tee, a black tee, cropped sweater, long boyfriend cardigan. i had it on my ef wishlist, and here i see it is up for a prize. winning this would be a “back to the future” moment for me. an old friend in new fabrication to take me forward and become my best friend skirt again. xxxooo Liza
